The POWER Of Silence
Have You Ever Though About The Power Of Silence?
When Was The Last Time You Just Sat In COMPLETE Silence?
I’m not talking about when you go to sleep but I’m talking about you took one part of your day to be SILENT.
It was a while for me but I started a week back and it’s INCREDIBLE. There’s huge power in silence. Here are tips to help create your SILENCE:
1. Create a silent room in your house. I use a closet to do this. It’s small, compact, and I feel completely free from the world in this room. It allows you to CLEAR your head.
2. Do NOT have any of your phones, email, or even your computer on. If you live with others, try and go to your silent room while they are away. The key to silence is NO distractions.
3 When you are in your silence, just FREE your mind. Don’t think about all the stuff you have to do, just relax and close your eyes and imagine a peaceful place. I usually think about being out by the ocean. It’s not relevant where you imagine being, as long as it is PEACEFUL to you.
4. Do this silence for at least 5 minutes each day. 10 minutes is better, but start out with 5 minutes a day. You will be LESS stressed with everything you do. Things that USE to make you mad, will no longer make you mad. Silence helps improve your mindset.
Leona Lewis has a new song she sang on America’s Got Talent. In the middle of her song, she paused for about 5 seconds. It was only 5 seconds of silence but it was so powerful because everyone, including myself, was anticipating what was going to happen next.
I want to encourage you today to have some “silent” time each day. It helps clear your head and allows you to be more focused on your daily tasks. Just take sometime to be “silent” and you will start to be less stressed.

Ahh, Silence! Nothing I like better than silence when I need it most. It’s so important sometimes to just turn everything off, and just be with yourself.
Great post bud! Looking forward to more!
Thanks Glenn. I appreciate it the comment!
Ryan,
Silence is POWERFUL! Thank you for sharing this wonderful post. It is so important to take some reflective time for yourself preferably on a daily basis. Even if it’s in the closet!
Thanks again for sharing!
