When Are YOU Going To Wake Up And STOP Putting A Lid On Your Life?

Some people aim for mediocrity in life.  They think, if I can just make this certain amount of money, I will just get by and be enough.

I want to challenge you to STOP putting these lids on your dreams.  Lids create barriers and limit your vision.  Lids are a way of saying, Yeah I got here but I don’t want to do anything to improve myself.

Let me tell you something, the moment you stop pressing forward, you move backward.

How do you think some of the most successful people in this world got to where they are? They NEVER stopped improving themselves

For instance, Michael Jordan.  He’s probably the most well known athlete around the world.  WHY?  It’s because he reached for the stars .   He was the MOST complete basketball player to ever hit the court.  There wasn’t ANYTHING he was afraid of.

How did he get to this level? PRACTICE.  He was always trying to bring the team to another level.  It wasn’t enough to just win, he made sure that he DOMINATED his competition.

Don’t put a LID on your vision.  ALWAYS strive to be better today than you were yesterday.  True leaders are always looking for ways to improve their skills.   Be open to learn new strategies EVERY single day.  There’s not a day goes by that I don’t acquire some valuable knowledge.

Here’s a quote I come up with to go by, “Once you stop learning, you’ve stopped living“  Imagine not learning ANYTHING new from now until you died.  That would be a pretty darn boring life.  Another thing, LISTEN to people that are older than you.  Most of the time, they usually know what they’re talking about because they have been there themselves.   You don’t always have to follow their advice but at least listen.

FREE yourself from this chain of “just getting by”.  Open your eyes to your LIFE.  Realize there is nothing in this world holding you back from accomplishing ANYTHING.  Surround yourself with positive people and their outlook on life will start to “rub off” on you
