I have very much the same feelings you have. I remember growing up there where some kids that I just couldn't stand because they just thought so much more highly of themselves. They made me sick and I didn't like them. But I started asking myself what's the difference between confidence and arrogance. I think the difference is that confidence simply comes from knowing the gifts and talents you have and using them to 'help others'. Where being arrogant is thinking your better and demanding it. It's all about service to others.
