This is already passed and has been in effect since December. I actually take an opposite stance on it. While it makes certain marketing tactics tricky it forces marketers to be above board. It forces us to take a stance of being PROUD to recommend our/your products. When we take the stance of being proud to recommend things, we further the trust. I’ve wrote on this fairly extensively and the best moves we can make is to model the big boys such as Eban Pagan in their/his communications. I for one am PROUD to be in internet marketing and recommending products. We’ve entered the recommendation age, lets leverage it!

Ryan, thanks for your great leadership on this. I had no idea this issue was even being raised and you’re right, it will not be a good thing if this is passed.
